Greenview, April 8. - William F. McAtee, aged 82 years, who was stricken with paralysis Sunday at the home of his brother, Lafayette McAtee, died this afternoon.

The deceased was born Oct. 23, 1832 in Calloway county, Kentucky, and came to Illinois at the age of two years.

In 1865, he married Elizabeth Montgomery, who died Jan. 4, 1902.

Surviving are two brothers, Lafayette and James, both of this place, and one-half brother, Charles, of Nebraska.

Greenview, Ill., April 8. - William F. McAtee, aged 82 years, died at 4:45 o'clock this afternoon at his home here of paralysis.

Mr. McAtee was born in Kentucky and came to Illinois with his parents when he was two years of age, settleing near Old Salem.

He married on January 25, 1865 Miss Elizabeth Montgomery, who died January 4, 1902.

Shortly after his marriage, he moved to Greenview where he has since resided.

He served several terms as alderman in the city council.

For many years, he was manager of the Cleveland Bay Horse company, but he has been retired from active business for several years past.

He was stricken with paralysis Monday morning.
