Mrs. Becker Is Called to Rest at Glenbeulah
Elkhart Lake. - (Special) - Mrs. Elizabeth Becker, 84, passed away at 11 p.m. Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rose Ziegler, at Glenbeulah. Mrs. Becker, nee Elizabeth Zimmermann, was born in Germany July 17, 1854. She came with her parents to this country in 1883 and settled on a farm in the town of Rhine, one mile west of Rhine Center. She moved to Elkhart Lake in 1909 and for the past 17 years has resided with her daughter. Her husband, Henry, preceded her in death on July 8, 1918. She is survived by two sons, Adam Becker of the town of Russell and Henry Becker of the town of Rhine; three daughters, Mrs. Ziegler of Glenbeulah, Mrs. William Gottsacker of Sheboygan and Mrs. Mathilda Trowbridge of Hayward, Wis. Three sons, Philip, Matthias and Edward, and two daughters, Anna and Lena, preceded their mother in death
