D'Beirue's Company "B" of the 32nd Regiment of U.S. Infantry, born in Lowell, in the state of Massachusetts aged 20 years, 5 feet 9 inches high, fair complexion, blue eyes, dark hair, and by profession a Soldier, was enlisted by Capt Fotte at New York City on the 23rd day of September, eighteen hundred and Sixty five, to serve for 3 years, who is now entitled to discharge by reason of Death. Killed by Indians near Camp Ilges A.T., May 17(sic), 1867.
