Ex-Resident of Elwood Expires
ELWOOD--Clinton W. Speicher, 70, of LaFountain, former Elwood resident, died at the Logansport Hospital Wednesday evening after one year's illness. The deceased was born May 22, 1883, in Wabash County, the son of William F. and Helena Speicher. He was married March 24, 1909, in Elwood to Stella Hoggatt. He owned and operated the LaFountain Sale Barn.
Survivors are the widow, one daughter, Mrs. Alpha Alexander of LaFountain; one brother, three sisters and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Boundary Line Church, with the Rev. J. Sherman Johns officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery at LaFountain.
