Mrs. Israel 8nyder Dead.
Mrs. Salome Snyder, relict of Israel Snyder, Sr., died suddenly at her home in Pinecreek township at 9.30 a. m., Friday, August 28, 1903. Her death was caused by heart trouble. Her husband died suddenly almost a year ago from heart trouble. Mrs. Snyder had fed the cbickons Friday morning and afterwards complained of not feeling well and in a couple of hours her earthly pilgrimage had ended.
Snlome Zimmerman was born in Schuylkill county, Pa., June 14, 1823, making her 80 years, 2 months and 14 days old. After she was married to Israel Snyder they moved into this section of the country, then a wilderness. Ten children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Snyder, eight of whom survive the mother, and are as follows: S. B. Snyder, West Reynoldsvllle; Peter Snyder, farmer of Winslow township; Israel Snyder, farmer of Winslow township; Mrs. Kate Foltz, of O'Donnel; Joel Snyder, farmer of Winslow township; Mrs. Mary Schugars, Mrs. Lena Dinger.
Funeral service was held at the Emerickville Lutheran church at 10.30 a.m., Sunday, conducted by Rev. J. A. Myers, and interment was made in Emerickville cemetery. Tbe funeral was largely attended. Mrs. Snydor was a highly respected old lady.
