VELMA B. NELSON
OROVILLE---Velma B. Nelson, 85, of Oroville, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 1991, in the North Valley Nursing Home at Tonasket. She was born Oct. 13, 1906, in Nebraska. She moved as a young girl with her family to Wyoming. She graduated from Minatare High School in Niobrara County, Wyo., in 1924. She married Edwin F. Nelson March 31, 1926, at Douglas, Wyo. Mrs. Nelson taught school for a time. They moved to Oroville in the 1930's. Her husband preceded her in death there in 1980.
Survivors include a brother, of Kirkland; several nieces; and many friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son.
Bergh Funeral Services, Oroville, is in charge of arrangements.
