Final Statement of Private Norman Duval of Captain Richard F. D'Beirue's Company "B" of the 32nd Regiment of U.S. Infantry, born in London, Canada aged 27 years, 5 feet 6¼ inches high, dark complexion, hazel eyes, dark hair, and by profession a Laborer, was enlisted by Capt Tidball at Buffalo, NY on the 20th day of September, eighteen hundred and Sixty five, to serve for 3 years, who is now entitled to discharge by reason of Death. Killed by Indians near Camp Ilges A.T., May 17(sic),1867.
