Mrs. Myrtle Hartman died Friday, December 9, at the home of a daughter Mrs. William Rhodes in Arma. She had been in ill health the past three years, serious the past six weeks. Mrs. Hartman was born in Coalton, O., December 12, 1876. She was married to Carmel E. Hartman April 18 1899. He died Sept. 22 1957. Mrs. Hartman had been a resident of Crawford County the past 46 years. Survivoers include Mrs. Rhodes, another daughter Mrs. Martha Smith, North Plains, Ore.; two sons, William Orville Hartman, Waco, Texas, and Raymond Hartman, Girard; Three sisters;three brothers; 33 grandchildren and 63 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Siple Chapel in Arma with Rev. Albert Baker officiating. Interment was in the Rosebank cemetery.
