A celebration of his life will be held at 1 PM Friday, October 28, 2005, at SharpFunerat Homes, Linden Chapel 209 E.Broad St.
Burial will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery, with military honors conducted by Marines from Seifridge Air National GuardBase.
Visitation will be held 4-9 pm Thursday and 11 am until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the family.
Charles was born June 28, 1942 infant, the son of Dwight and Florence (Edwards) Meek
He was married on September 3, 1963, in Mt Morris.
Mr. Meek was a veteran of the US Marine Corp. serving in Vietnam. He served for 20 years retiring in 1980.
Following his time with the USMC. he returned to the Flint Areaand worked for Securitas Company for 21 years Charles was a member of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church.
He enjoyed fishing and camping but especially spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his Parents: brothers, Russell Treloar and Billy Meek, sister Donna Hudson.
