Steve was born in Dickinson Center on Nov.3,1930,the son of the late Orville and Evelyn Shatraw Shepard. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War for seven years and was a member of the Edwin Wilbur Jr. American Legion Post #1478,McDonough for 36 years. He was predeceased by two sisters, Della MacLaury and Ella Dubois. Married to Patricia Hennessey Shepard.
