Nancy A Elizabeth Moore was born 19 September 1862 in Walton County Georgia to Robert M Moore, and Nancy Jane Watson Moore.

By 1870, according to U S Census, Nancy came to Blount County, Alabama with her parents. She married John Quincey Adams 13 July 1881 in Blount County, Alabama. Nancy and John had six children;
Donna Pearl Adams Harvey, Nancy Lee Adams, Napoleon Eugene Adams, Laborn Elijah Adams, Sally Abigale Adams Barnes, Elizabeth Adams.

Nancy died in 22 June 1891 from complications of childbirth. She is buried in Mount Moriah Cemetery, Blount County, Alabama.
