GRIFFITH Pearl, 94, of Welling, OK, (formerly of OKC), passed away April 12, 2001, at Grace Living Center in Tahlequah, OK. She was born June 6, 1906, in Harmon, OK, to Lee and Christine Elizabeth (Maur) Hopper.
A resident of the OKC/Newcastle area since 1928, she moved to Tahlequah in June of 1998 to be near family.
A member of First Bible Baptist Church in OKC, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence T. Griffith, on March 19, 1982; daughter, Marjorie Shepherd; 2 granddaughters, Anita Henderson and Rebekah Freeman. She is survived by her daughter, Bonita Freeman of Welling, OK, 1 sister, Josephine Allen of Canon City, CO; 5 grandchildren, Charles Stokes, Jr. of OKC, Patrick Freeman of Ft. Smith, AR, C.A. Freeman of Blanchard, OK, Steve Freeman of Huntington, TX, and Ronnie Shepherd of East Hampton, Conn. 15 great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, who will be missed by all who knew her.
Graveside Services: Sat., April 14, 2001, at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
