Funeral services for Ludie Beatrice Base, 69, Route 1, Tuttle, was Monday in the Sowers Memorial chapel of Sevier Tuttle funeral home with Rev Rand Wilkes officiating. Mrs Base was born 3/18/1913 in Sayre, OK, and passed away early Friday afternoon in the Care Manor nursing home, Tuttle. She came to the Tuttle area some 32 years ago from Anadarko. She and Erfie Base were married in 1934 in Anadarko and he preceded her in death 7/19/1977. She was a Baptist. She is survived by 2 sons, Freddie & Danny, both of Tuttle, 2 daughters, Yvonne Ollison & June Horn, both of Minco, 5 brothers, Dee Stidham & Amos Stidham of Arkansas, Alfred & Leonard Stidham of Anadarko, and Dale Stidham of Chickasha, 2 sisters, Ella Amburm of Tulsa & Willie Kent of Portullas, New Mexico, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Interment was in Fairview cemetery, Tuttle, under direction of Sevier Tuttle funeral home.
