Janie retired from working at Central State Hospital in Norman after 28 yrs of service retiring in May of 1987.
Janie loved to travel and be involved in the Okie C.B. Club and TenKiller Jamboree and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her husband James, her parents, sister Vera Ford, 3 brothers George Stubbs, Jr., J.T. Stubbs, and Charles Stubbs, 2 sons Larry Don and Mike Phillips, daughter Linda, and granddaughter Amy.
She is survived by son Jerry & wife Beverly, 3 daughters Gail Slease & husband Dale, Vickie Prince & husband Ronnie, Debbie Donovan & husband Lewis, 23 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 2 sisters Pat Minton and Nancy Martin & husband Steve and a host of nieces & nephews.
Funeral service: Friday, March 27, 2009, at the funeral home chapel with burial at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
