My Dear Aunt Polly met and married Leonard Singleton. They had two sons and two daughters. This lady always had the coffee pot going and was almost like a coffee shop in the mornings and evenings. Many people sat on her front porch and rocked while visiting with the family. If you didn't watch out she would feed you, too. She had 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one of those grandchildren, Jim Leon Singleton. One sister, one brother, and her mother and father also preceded her death. She had a very full life, not only raising her family, babysitting her grandkids, raising a garden, tending to her chickens, but also worked in the lunchroom at the Montgomery ISD from which she retired. We miss you so much.
