From the book Historical Cemetery Records of Bradley County, Tennessee Volume 1 compiled by E. L. Ross and published in 1973. Pages 34 & 35 talks about the Chambers Cemetery.

"Chambers Cemetery:

This is the Chambers Family Cemetery, Jeremiah Chambers and his wife bought this land and settled on it after the county was open for settlement. This was some time after the King family had bought the larger area from the Indians in 1830.

It is located on the Eureka Road approximately one and one-half miles from the intersection of the Georgetown and Eureka Road. It is about three or four hundred feet behind the home of what is now the Marvin Hooper farm. [1973 or before.]

Jeremiah Chambers and his wife are buried in this plot along with James Chambers, his son, and a daughter whose name we do not have. Jeremiah Chambers, was a Methodist preacher in this area. He had a son, Phillip Chambers, who was the father of Nina CHAMBERS MOWERY and Amy Chambers. they gave me the information concerning the family and cemetery, Miss Amy, who moved away from this farm when she was 3 years of age is more than ninety years of age.

The markers for the four graves were filed stones, They did not identify the people in the graves.

Some thirty years ago a man who owned the farm for a short time did not know that it was a cemetery and plowed up the area.

Chambers, Jeremiah
Chambers, wife of Jeremiah
Chambers, James - Son of Jeremiah
Chambers, daughter of Jeremiah"

That is all there is about this Cemetery. [ ] I added.
