Isaac Morrow died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. DAJ Chambers, near McGirk, March 22, 1898. Born in Macon County, Missouri in 1822, he came to Moniteau County in 1882, settling a little east of town. Two years ago he moved to the Confederate Home where he lived until last October.
Two daughters came to care for him during his last weeks, Mrs. Mary Powell of near Jamestown and Mrs. Nellie Glick. Two sons were called from Macon County and Camden County, but arrived after his death. A member of the Christian Church for 45 years, he was buried in the Martin Cemetery, north of the city.
