Mrs. Eva Stief.
Mrs. Eva Stief (nee Saeger), wife of G. F. Stief, who died at the family home, 1301 St Louis avenue, East St. Louis, Monday morning was 57 years of age.
Mrs. Stief was born and raised in Belleville. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Saeger.
She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Charles Palmer of East St. Louis and Mrs. Edward Wade of this city, one brother, Louis Saeger and two sisters, Mrs. John Brunner and Mrs. Louis Klaas of this city; also two grandchildren. One sister Mrs. Louisa Anderson died five weeks ago.
The funeral takes place Thursday morning from the family residence to St. Henry's Church East St. Louis and Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
