Funeral services for Carl Meriwether, 61, Ruidoso, who died Sunday in Plainview, Tex., will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Lemons Funeral Home, Plainview.
Burial will be in Lockney, Texas cemetery with Rev. John P. Miner, Ruidoso, officiating.
Meriwether was a long time resident of Las Cruces and managed the Anderson Clayton Co., Western Cottonoll Division until his ill health forced him to retire in 1959. Since then, the Meriwethers have made their home in Ruidoso.
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Crowther Meriwether, and two brothers and one sister.
