MOULTRIE — James Dennis Flowers, 56, of Moultrie, died Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 4 p.m., Wednesday, March 25, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Tim Clark officiating.

Interment will follow in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

Casketbearers will be Terry Hewitt, Mike Dozier, Matt Eure, Jesse Pope, Lewis Medley and Nate French.

Born Dec. 19, 1952, in Colquitt County, he was the son of the late James Bennis Flowers and Doris Hazel Lowry Flowers.

He owned and operated Flowers Auto Repair and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are his wife, Debbie Matthews Flowers of Moultrie; four sons, James Anthony Flowers of Albany, Ga., and Russell Manning Flowers, Tyler John Flowers and Logan Eli Flowers, all of Moultrie; two brothers, Walter Kenneth Flowers of Moultrie and George Davis Flowers of Guyton, Ga.; three sisters, Deborah Thomas of Pawpaw, Ill., Tina Crosby of Norman Park and Patricia Ann Feagin of Rincon, Ga.; and three grandchildren, Russell Manning Flowers Jr., Evan Carter Flowers and Ivey Flowers. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., today, March 24, at Cobb Funeral Chapel. The family may be contacted at the residence, 3476 Ga. Hwy. 37 East.
