Simon Arnold -
Simon Arnold, keeper of the C,,B & Q. tank at Kepple Creek, south of Bushnell, died suddenly of heart disease Sunday morning about one o'clock. He was a member of the Macomb Catholic church, and the remains were interred in the Catholic cemetery at that place Wednesday after services conducted by Father La Barry. Mr. Arnold was severy-five years old . He was born in Germany and came to America forty-two years ago. He lived in Galesburg two years and then moved to his late residence and took charge of the tank, serving faithfully for forty years. His wife died about seven years ago. surviving the parents are Charles of Bardolph; John,residing at Kewannee, Michael residing at Macomb, Mrs Kittie Graham of Emerson,Ia, Mrs Lizzie Herring, Kewanee, Mrs Mary Herring,Bushnell; Mrs Matilda Herring, Scottsburg.
