Paul Jerome Prater, of Grubville, Missouri, was born May 28, 1938, in Braggs City, Missouri, to Fred and Myrtle (nee Hartwell) Prater, and entered into rest, Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at his residence, in Grubville, Missouri, at the age of 70 years, 9 months and 12 days.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Pansy (nee Curtis) Prater, of Grubville, Missouri, (Married May 24, 1958, in Portageville, Missouri), three (3) children, Vicki (Robert) Tucker, of Fenton, Missouri, Tina (fiancé, Bob Meyer) Rice, of St. Clair, Missouri, and Dana (boyfriend, Mark Frankenberg) Dietrich, of Union, Missouri, eight (8) grandchildren, Bethany Tucker, Rachel Tucker, Heather Saling, Dustin Nappier, Vanessa Rice, Amber Dietrich, Brittany Dietrich, and Bryan Dietrich, three (3) great-grandchildren, Kyra, Nathan, and Tiana, ten (10) brothers and sisters, and many other relatives and friends.
Paul enjoyed fishing and being a craftsman, however his most precious moments were those spent with his family. He is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
