Dorothy Mae Prater was born in Bragg City on May 9, 1941 a daughter to Fred J. and Myrtle (nee Hartwell) Prater. She died on January 5, 2022 at Mercy Hospital – Jefferson at the age of 80. She is survived by her children: Stephen (Lynnette) Reando, Imperial, Jonny (Teresa) Reando, Festus, Cheryl (James) Haynes, De Soto and Kimberly (Stephen) Mueller, Festus; her grandchildren: Stacie Reando, Kristen Reando, Steven Reando, Jon Paul Reando, Jessica (Justin) Chatagnier, Eric (Elizabeth) Thompson, Angie (Tye) White, James Haynes, Jr. and Stephen Mueller, II; great grandchildren: Gunner, Lincoln, Caydance, Avery, Reagan and Eli; one sister Wanda S. Berry, Fredericktown and two brothers John Prater, Fouke, AR and Jimmy Prater, Grubville. She is preceded in death by her parents; two grandchildren: Jamie Sue Haynes and Justin Alexander Reando; two sisters: Opal Puttin and Joy Venable and five brothers: Harvey Prater, Robert Prater, Paul Prater, Freddie Prater and Billy Prater. Dorothy was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
