ANDERSON — Carla Denise Cooper, 39, of Anderson, passed away March 17, 2009, at Saint John’s Medical Center after a sudden illness.
She was born Sept. 30, 1969, in Anderson, and was a lifelong Anderson resident.
She was a homemaker and attended the Colonial United Methodist Church.
Carla had a generous spirit that showed in her willingness to help other with their
needs. She loved her family and enjoyed doing crafts.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Cooper of Anderson; three children, Krista Ooten (boyfriend, Jordan Wilson) of Knightstown and Charles Cooper and Christopher Cooper, both of Anderson; two brothers, Dave (wife, Dawn) Boots of Dunkirk and Clayton Taylor of Fort Wayne; mother-in-law, Rosemary Britton of Anderson; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bobbie Garrett; and mother, Charlotte Brown.
Services will be conducted at l l a.m. Monday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with
her brother. Pastor Dave Boots, officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
