Mr. Daniels was born Aug. 31, 1942, in Baltimore, Md., the son of the late Chester and Margret Ann Dillow Daniels.
He was a retired truck driver and a member of Brick Union Gospel Lighthouse.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Joyce Jones Daniels; two brothers, Leslie "Bud" Daniels and Ralph Daniels; a sister, Thelma Jean Mayse; and a great-granddaughter, Marlyann Marie Stith.
He is survived by three sons; a daughter, of Flatwoods; six grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Funeral services will be at noon Monday, March 23, 2009, at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods by Pastor Carl Collier. Burial will be in Melvin Cemetery in Wurtland.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
