BUCHANAN - Donald Lawrence Barlow Sr., 86, of 12380 Davis Road, died of natural causes at 3:15 p.m. Monday in his home. He was born April 4, 1922, in South Bend, to the late William and Ida Barlow. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran (1942-1945), a lifetime member of the Buchanan American Legion, retired from Premier Tool & Die, and was a lifetime area resident and truck driver. On Nov. 15, 1946, in Buchanan, he married Helen (Myers) Barlow, who survives. Also surviving are sons, Don (Sue) Barlow Jr. and Bill (Helen) Barlow, both of Buchanan; daughters, Betty Edwards and Kathleen Barlow, both of Buchanan; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Hoven Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
