Visitation for Norfork native Mary Lucille Barton Best of Kansas City, Mo. will be 6-8 p.m. today at the Carson Funeral Home in Kansas City, Mo. Mrs. Best died Wednesday (Aug 19, 1992) at Kansas City.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m.Saturday at the Norfork Cemetery.
Mrs. Best is survived by a brother, Hugh Barton of Edwardsville, Ill., and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death her husband, James Best; her parents Hugh and Lucy Barton; and a sister, Geneice Hillen.
Mrs. Best was born in Norfork. She and her husband farmed in Norfork for several years before moving to Kansas City. She had been a Kansas City resident since 1939. Mrs. Best worked for Montgomery Wards, the Internal Revenue Service and Parson's Ammunition in Kansas City, Mo.
Local arrangements were by Roller Funeral Home.
