Millie Y. Murphy CHARLESTON -- Millie Yvonne Murphy, 77, of Charleston, formerly of Casey, died at 11:30 a.m. Saturday (March 14, 2009) at her residence. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Markwell Funeral Home in Casey with the Rev. Terry Blanchard officiating. Burial will be in the Jewett Cemetery in Jewett. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. She was born Oct. 7, 1931, in Woodbury, the daughter of Thomas B. Brewer and Wyonda M. Plummer Brewer. She is survived by one son, David Murphy of Charleston; and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Ms. Murphy was a homemaker.
