SILAS ZIRKLE IS DEAD
HAD LIVED IN KANSAS FOR MORE THAN FIFTY YEARS
Silas Zirkle, 71, died at his home 2 miles east of Berryton, as 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon. His death, occurring after two weeks of illness, ended a life of more than fifty years in Kansas, forty of which were spent on his homestead.
He is survived by his widow, four sons and three daughters. They are George, Ernest and Roy Zirkle, of Berryton, and Clyde of San Francisco, Cal.; Miss Bern Herrick and Mrs. Hazel Warner, of Berryton, and Mrs. Maude Calore of Kansas City, Mo.
Funeral services will be at the Pleasant Hill Church near Berryton, at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon and burial will be in the Pleasant Hill cemetery.
