DEATH OCCURS AT DAUGHTER'S HOME
David G. Zerkel, 87, Retired Farmer, Succumbs
David G. Zerkel, 87, died at 12:20 p. m. Friday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Justin Gentis, who lives one mile south of Terre Haute. Mr. Zerkel was a well known farmer and had only been ill about two weeks. His wife died about 14 years ago.
He is survived by the following children, Sally Ray of St. Paris, William of Urbana, Mrs. Lizzie Shaffer, Mrs. Nervia Smith and Mrs. Tressie Gentis, all of Terre Haute, J. L. Zerkel of Woodstock, and Mrs. Letessia Haeer of Springfield.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. Sunday at the Terre Haute Methodist cemetery.
