Dessie McDonald Watson
Services for Dessie McDonald Watson will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. from Barham Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Donald Turner and the Rev. Kendal Turner officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Watson, 70, of Meridian died Monday, Sept 9, at Riley Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Crandall.
Survivors include three daughters, Leoda Dearman, Meridian, Joyce Astor, Mossy Head, Fla., and Sara Barrow, Pace, Fla.; a son, Richard Watson, Powder Springs, Ga.; 16 Grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Percy McDonald, Cun Chula, Ala.
Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Nathan Watson; a daughter Dorothy Steed; four brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home.
