RULE, Aug. 14.--Funeral services for L. D. Horton, 70-year old retired Rule merchant, will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the Rule Baptist Church. The pastor, the Rev. Houston Walker, will officiate. Burial will be in the Rule Cemetery with Gauntt Funeral Home of Rule in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Horton died monday morning at his home here after a 10-year illness. He came to Haskell County about 15 years ago and operated a grocery store here until he became ill.
Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. A. E. Crow of Waxahachie and Mrs. S. L. Hightower of Hillsboro, and one son, Travis Horton, of Rule.
