She is survived by her husband, Arnold W. Cockerham of Joyce; one son, A. W. Cockerham, Jr., of Denton, Texas; four daughters, Mrs. A. E. Ussery of Arcadia, Mrs. Leo Langston of Jackson, Miss., Mrs. Ben Ford and Mrs. Frank Campisi, both of Shreveport; two brothers, H. A. Gorham and C. E. Gorham, both of Winnfield; five sisters, Mrs. R. E. Townsend, Mrs. Crawford Sanders, and Mrs. Richard Sanders, all of Winnfield, and Mrs. Hammon Sayes of Vick, and Mrs. G. P. Eagles of Shreveport; 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in the Old Union Baptist Church in Joyce 1t 10:30 a.m. Wednesday with Reverends Steve Caskey and Ralph Frazier officiating. Burial was in the Old Union Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.
