Morristown, Tenn. – Willadean Hyatt Boyd, 83, of Morristown, Tenn., passed away Monday, Oct. 8, 2007. She was a member of Mount Moriah Wesleyan Church in Candler, N.C. Her passion was genealogy, and she was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and Daughters of the American Revolution.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jennie Wright Hyatt and Thad Hyatt; brothers and sisters, Mary Lou Phillips, Edith Morgan Green, Dorothy Ray, Jack Hyatt, Helen Seltzer and Janette Hyatt.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, J.C. Boyd; son, Cesile Boyd, of Los Angeles; daughter, Susan Boyd Pasley, of Memphis, Tenn.; and granddaughter, Kendall Pasley, of Memphis.
The graveside service will be held at Mount Moriah Cemetery in Candler, with the Rev. Matt Rampey officiating.
Arrangements are by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
