Julia Barbara (Fenner) Chenard of Worcester died Wed., March 11 in the Autumn Village Nursing Home in Worcester. She was born in Worcester on March 31, 1923, the oldest daughter and second child of Harry James and Laura (Barton) Fenner. Most of her family knew her as Barbara. She attended Worcester Schools. Barbara married Wilfred (Billy) Chenard on May 30, 1941. Her oldest brother Harry and his fiance Claire Young were the best man and maid of honor.

Her husband Wilfred D. Chenard died in 1969, so with a lot of determination she learned how to drive and went to work at RH Whites. Julia worked at the former RH White Company for many years and then at Lady Grace, before retiring five years ago. She was a member of St. Christopher Church.

She leaves two daughters, Joan M. McDonald and her husband Charles of Worcester and Janice M. Burns and her husband Dennis of Worcester; five grandchildren, Charles McDonald, Jr. of Leominster, Steven McDonald of Enfield, CT, Pamela Courtney, Brian Burns and Kevin Burns all of Worcester; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Fenner; a sister, Lillian Mason both of Worcester and nieces and nephews. A daughter Janet G. Chenard, Janice's twin, died in 2005 and nine brothers and sisters predeceased her.
