FORT FAIRFIELD - Vera A. (Kennedy) Boulier, 85, wife of the late John Loomis Boulier, passed away Saturday morning, Jan. 24, 2009, at a Bangor health care facility, after a brief illness. She was born Aug. 6, 1923, in Dover Hill, New Brunswick, the daughter of Elmer and Eva (Miller) Kennedy. She attended school in the Dover Hill, New Brunswick, area and was married to John Loomis Boulier, March 30, 1943. Vera attended both St. Paul's Episcopal Church and St. Denis Catholic Church, Fort Fairfield. Vera loved her family dearly and loved to cook and bake, especially homemade bread and cookies. She also made wonderful pickles and loved canning fresh vegetables. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Boulier was predeceased by her husband, John Loomis Boulier, May 11, 1989; four sons, Donald P., Larry V., Wendell L. "Bob" and John L. Boulier; one daughter, Carolyn McPherson; three brothers, Hughie, Vaughn and Delmar Kennedy; four sisters, Velma Shannon, Inez Nicholson, Margaret Nye and Helen Putnum Theriault; and by her special friend, Donald J. Levesque Sr. She is survived by three sons, Ricky D. Boulier and his wife, Shirley, of Fort Fairfield, Allen E. Boulier of Presque Isle and Wayne E. Bouiler of Caribou; three daughters, Judy LaPointe of Fort Fairfield, Marsha Boulier of Fresh Meadows, N.Y., and Gloria Sheridan of Fort Fairfield; one sister, Ruth Pelletier of Westfield; 20 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, at Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main St., Fort Fairfield, where the funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, with the Rev. Dr. Robert Smith officiating. Interment will be held later in the spring at Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. A time of continued fellowship with refreshments will be held at VFW Paul Lockhart Post No. 6187, Presque Isle Street, Fort Fairfield, immediately after the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute in memory of Mrs. Boulier to St. Denis Catholic Church Memorial Fund, 143 Main St., Fort Fairfield, ME 04742 or St. Paul's Episcopal Church Memorial Fund, P.O.
