m: Fred Agnew 4 Oct 1936 in Douglas Co, WA
m: Lloyd Brincefield 26 Dec 1976 in Kittitas Co, WA

Marie was born February 22, 1918, to Della and Willie Garrison in Rose, OK. She entered into rest on March 10, 2009, at Colonial Vista, where she resided for the last few years. Marie came to Palisades, WA with her family in 1933. She entered Wenatchee High School then and she served as Apple Blossom Princess of Palisades. In 1936, she married Fred Agnew and they started their life in Peshastin. They had an orchard business and started a family there. After many years of farming, the family moved to Wenatchee, where Marie worked at the Plaza Jet and Montgomery Wards for a short while. Later in life, Marie became Post Master in Rock Island, WA, where she met and married Lloyd Brincefield. After 18 years of service to the U.S. Postal Service, Marie retired. During her retirement, Marie spent a lot of time crafting; hats, scarves, blankets, aprons, embroidered towels, etc. are some of the things she enjoyed making and giving away or selling at craft shows. Marie didn't like to miss out on anything, and she didn't! Whether it be for her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids or neighbors and friends, Marie showed up for everything; weddings, birthdays, sporting events, school events, tea or lunch dates, other celebrations and anything else you can imagine. Marie loved to be a part of everything and everyone. She truly lived life to the fullest, and she brightened the lives of everyone around her. Her quick, witty jokes and stories, shared with a hearty chuckle and a glimmer in her eye, will be missed by many. Her love and generosity and her whole-hearted approach to life will be remembered by all. Memories of time spent with Rea will be cherished forever.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Joy and Evelyn; husbands, Fred and Lloyd; companion, Ben; two sons, Pat and Mike; and grandson, Rick. Marie is survived by three siblings, Don, Bob and Betty; two daughters, Freda and Donna; grandchildren, Randy, Brad, VerlaLaRea, Sandy, James, Romi and Ronda; and great-grandchildren, Ryker, Tawnee, Sammy, Taylor, Mikel, Jaykob, Shayn, Olivia, Kristi, Tifni and Rachel; and many other dear family members and friends.
