LINCOLNTON: Mrs. Lillie Martin Anthony, 93, formerly of Boiling Springs, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002, at Brian Center.
Born in and a life-long resident of Cleveland County, she was a mill worker, homemaker, avid quilter, gardener, member of Flint Hill Baptist Church and, in her later years, became the artist-in-residence at Brian Center.
She was preceded in death by parents Emmanuel and Julia Lemons Martin; two brothers, J.T. Martin and Vester Martin; and a sister, Ellen Martin Farris.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Frank Anthony; son and daughter-in-law Ray and Jo Anthony of Patterson Springs; grandson and grandaughter-in-law Gregory and Teresa Anthony of Kings Mountain; great-grandsons Brandon and Evan Anthony of Kings Mountain; two sisters-in-law, Elsie Martin and Eunice Anthony of Boiling Springs; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Cleveland Memorial Park
