MARION DENNIS BENTLEY

Marion Dennis "Buddy" Bentley was called home Monday, June 24, 1996, by our loving and gracious Heavenly Father.

Born in Dwale, Kentucky, on November 8, 1938, to William Ervin Bentley and Nancy Wright, he is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carol Hager.

A loving husband, adoring father, doting grandfather, gracious friend and loyal employee, Buddy is survived by his faithful wife, Wanda Lee Adkins Bentley; devoted daughters, Rebecca Bentley-Mila (Samiuela); Rosa Price (Scott); Lisa Cole (Darren); and Rhonda Bailey (David); beautiful grandchildren, Michael, Adam, Cody, Amber, Brandon, Brittany, Austin, and Marion Dennis "Tyler"; brothers, John Earl (Jean); George (Pauline); William (Carol) and Clyde; sisters, Mary Brown (Lincoln); Martha Akers (Orbie); Sally Haywood; Patsy Propst (John); sisters-in-law, Virgie Woods (Glenn); Marsella Skeens (Paul); and Brenda Sammons (Bill); mother-in-law, Elizabeth Pack and many, many friends.

A gentle man, Buddy's life was exemplified by gracious servitude. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany for two terms; worked 25 years for Dana Corporation; and spent the last eight years employed by the LDS Church. Always putting others' needs ahead of his own, his kind heart and gentle spirit will be sorely missed. But his passion for life, infectious smile and unshakeable faith will live on the memories of all those whose lives he's touched.

Friends and relatives are invited to join Buddy's family in celebrating his passage from this earthly existence to one of celestial glory, where he will be free of pain, busily engaged in goodness and preparing for the time when we will all be together again.

Funeral services Saturday, June 29, 1996, 12 noon at the Riverside 2nd Ward, 500 West Germania Ave. (5090 South), Murray, Utah. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State St., and Saturday at the church one hour prior to service. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
