On June 4, 1918, he was married to Veronica Lichty, who survives. Also surviving are one son (Delmar), 3 daughters (Madeline - Mrs. Alvin Roth, Jean, Grace - Mrs. Oliver Brunk), 9 grandchildren, and one sister (Elizabeth - Mrs. Nicholas Kuepfer). He was preceded in death by one son (Vernon), one brother, 3 sisters, and one grandchild. He was ordained minister on Apr. 27, 1952, of the Wellesley Mapleview Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Oct. 5, in charge of Alvin Leis and Jacob Roes; interment in adjoining cemetery.
