Mrs. Tobie Connor Hilburn, 90, of Wilmington, NC, died Sunday morning at her home.
Mrs. Hilburn was born in Cerro Gordo, NC, on August 24, 1896, the daughter of the late J. Richard Connor and Rebecca Shaw Connor. She was preceeded in death by her husband, L.J. Hilburn and a daughter, Mildred Savage. Mrs. Hilburn was a member of Winter Park Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Earl Hilburn of Leland, NC, a daughter, Lenore Hilburn of the home, a brother, Rex Connor of Cerro Gordo, NC; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 1987 in the Coble Ward-Smith Oleander Chapel with Lamar J. Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be C.B. Sellers, James Sellers, Jerry Hutto, Terry Millard, H.P. Williamson and David Williamson.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Coble Ward-Smith Oleander Chapel.
