Daughter of Jerusha Hart Powers (2nd married Brooks) and Nathaniel Powers II.

[HALL] (1806-1876), Salley [VANCE] (1807-1879), Sarah [VANCE] (1809-1891), Ema Heela {twin} (1814-?), Ezra Heela {twin} (1814-1848), Sophia [BATHOLRI][BATTEN] (1816-1898), Cherlotte [DOWNEY] (1818-1888), Harriet [FISK] (1829-1890], Cordelia L. {twin} [FISK][STORK] (1826-1896), Samuel Jr. {twin} (1826-1833).

Some sources report that Ema Heela lived one hundred years to 1914, but that has not been verified. Her twin, Ezra Heela Allen met an untimely death as a Mormon Battalion soldier in the Serria Nevada Mountains. As a scout for his troop returning from the California gold fields, he was supposidly attacked & killed by Digger Indians at Tragedy Spring.
