Ralph Emerson Ramsey, 90, died Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at his residence in Indianapolis.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Jane (Wright) Ramsey of Indianapolis; four children, Ron Ramsey of Nineveh, Ralph Ramsey Jr. of Greenfield, Jean Ramsey Weber of Greenwood and William Joseph Ramsey of Rockville; a sister, Jessica Mulliandore Prosser of Franklin; a brother, Joseph Cicero of California; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Nellie (Falkenburg) Ramsey; three sisters, Alma McGee, Nell Jackson and Juanita Noel; and four brothers, Gilbert, Jim, Fred and Curtis Ramsey.
A service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Jessen Funeral Home, Franklin Chapel, 197 E. Jefferson St. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
