George H. Bennett, Jr. 47 of Brunswick died Friday at the local hospital. The funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Alex Hoffner and the Rev. Sidney DuBois officiating. Burial will follow in Palmetto Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 Tuesday at the funeral home. Survivors are a daughter Sacha Lee-Ann Bennett, granddaughter Savannah Lee-Ann Bennett, mother Shirley Bennett, brother William H. Bennett, two sisters Deborah Edwards and Sandy Marsh, Maternal grandmother Nettie Jacobs, paternal grandmother Mildred Bennett, a niece, four nephews several aunts and uncles all of Brunswick. He was a life long resident of Brunswick. Mr. Bennett was a commercial fisherman. He was of the Lutheran faith.
