Mrs. Sophia Drompp Dies at Son's Home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the McCloskey-Hamilton Mortuary for Sophia K. Drompp, 89, who died Saturday (23 December 1950) at 8 p.m. at the home of her son, Arthur, in Detroit. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
She was born in Huntington, Indiana, 4 September 1861. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church.
Surviving are 5 sons: Carl, Daniel, Albert, of Logansport, George of Berea, Ohio, Arthur of Detroit, Michigan; one daughter, Miss Marie Drompp, Detroit, Michigan; one sister, Mrs. Emma Schwarz, Dallas, Texas; several grandchildren.
