Husband of Hettie Esther Baker.

Son of Samuel Hart, Jr and Francis M. Booker.

He was Baptised March 12, 1826 at Prospect Presbyterian Church. Many of their children are buried at Prospect Presbyterian Church, near Mooresville, Iredell Co, NC.

In May of 1865, he signed an Oath of Allegiance to the US after the Civil War. It is possible that he was in a local Militia unit. It stated that he was dark complected, had black hair, gray eyes and stood 6'2" tall.
