Civil War: Company A, 76th Penns. Infantry

James Merklin Losinger enlisted as a substitute for a drafted man on February 18, 1865 and was mustered into Company A, 76th Pennsylvania Infantry "Keystone Zouaves." Private Losinger was mustered out July 10, 1865. On May 10, 1866 he married (1) Ellen Roxana "Minnie" Lent in the Dartt Settlement, Charleston Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania. Ellen died in 1918 and he married (2) Celestia "Lettie" Sturdavant in 1919 at Howard City, Reynolds Township, Montcalm County, Michigan. Celestia died in 1923 and he married (3) Anna Brosch in 1924 at Reed City, Osceola County, Michigan.
