Arnola Alice Fetrow, 83, of 1500E 700S, Wabash, IN, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 1998 at her residence.
She was born April 26, 1915 at Wabash, IN to Roy V. and Hazel Estelle (Hummer) Tudor. She married Leonard G. Sample who preceded her in death; she later married Russell Fetrow April 26, 1968, and he survives.
She was a member of the Bachelor Creek Church of Christ and the Wabash American Legion Auxiliary. She worked for General Tire in Wabash for 30 years, retiring in 1976.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Leonard R. Sample of Fort Wayne; daughters Shirley A. Paul of Wabash and Margaret Roselin Whitesel of Bluffton, IN; step daughters Jane Carol Bond of Urbana and Sharon Virginia Floyd of Swayzee; a brother, Roy W. Tudor of Wabash; and sisters Doris Brown of Akron, IN and Mary E. Marsh of Bromfield, CO; nine grandchildren, five step grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, a brother, and a sister.
Funeral service was held Monday, Dec. 21, 1998 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Main St. Chapel with Mark McKinney and John Leinbaugh officiating. Burial was in LaFontaine IOOF Cemetery, located at LaFontaine, IN. Preferred memorials are to Wabash-Miami Home Healthcare and Hospice and Bachelor Creek Church of Christ.
