Theodore H. Clark, 89, died last night at 9:10 o'clock at his home, 18 Jackson Street, after a lingering illness.

He was born on January 15, 1845, in Clay, Onondaga County, son of John and Matilda Post Clark, and lived there until 19 years of age, when he went to Saratoga County. There he became a papermaker and remained in that business for 50 years, retiring 18 years ago.

He was deeply religious. For the past 14 years he was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church of this city, and for several years was class leader. He loved his home, and while he lived here made many friends.

In 1863 he married Martha Post, who died in 1922.

Mr. Clark is survived by one daughter, Miss Cora M. Clark, with whom he lived; two sons Frank M. Clark of Westfield, Mass., and Ira L. Clark, Glens Falls; one brother Frank W. Clark, Amsterdam; seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
