Mrs. Pirie had resided in Amsterdam for nearly half a century and was esteemed and respected by a circle of friends.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Jacob Hohs, Mrs. Benjamin Thackrah and Mrs. Joseph H. Brennan, of this city; six sons, Frederick and George, of Fort Johnson, and Earl, John, Frank and Homer Pirie, all of Amsterdam; three brothers George A. Clark, of Warsaw, N.Y., Theodore Clark of Saratoga Springs, and F.W. Clark, of this city, and one sister, Mrs. William Kilbourn, of Amsterdam.
The funeral will be held at the house Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, the Rev. Dr. E.T. Carroll, of St. Ann's church, officiating. Interment in Green Hill.
